Vector Lights is commemorating Waitangi Day with a dynamic light and sound show designed by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei in collaboration with Mandylights and accompanied by the waiata 'Maunga' by siblings Majic Pāora and Robbie Pāora. The show will play from 9pm until midnight, every 15 minutes.

Descendants of a Movement, artist Mars Cook is at the helm of this year’s show, illuminating the bridge with powerful queer narratives that celebrate Takatāpui and Rainbow communities.

The Horse, a zodiac sign known for its powerful, spirited energy inspires this year’s show, and symbolises vitality, freedom and forward momentum for the year ahead.
